Don't worry - they'll work something out where they all get to spend more money - YOUR MONEY.
Most Federal workers will be paid after the furlough - work or not. The furlough is just to make the news.
Besides, on the way home, pick up a bottle of wine, some nice smelling candles, some body oil and..................enjoy the Holidays.

Nope...they can't.
It wouldn't be so infuriating if it weren't for the fact we have to plan budgets several years out...but for the political pull, they wait and turn everything into a crisis.
Those toolbags can't even do the things they are SUPPOSED to do.
SS Tax.
Hmmm, SS is fixin' to go in the tank because of funding. So with that in mind the fight now is over how much we can defund it.
Notice how for years SS "Tax" was not considered a "Tax" but a contribution that you would get back in later years - which was why everyone paid in.
By now calling it a "Tax" - and to stimulate the economy we are going to cut it out for the lower earners? To make it "whole" again we'll have to raise the cap on all earnings plus throw in means testing. So that means those who paid in to fund it get nothing while those who pay nothing gets the bennies.
You'll keep screaming about the little shit while the politicians get ready to screw you big time from behind the curtain.
Once the "poor" are relieved of a Tax the politicians will never be able to put it back.
