You know those pics were released to the public nearly two years ago - Feb 2010 - right. ;)

I was blowing them up/analyzing them just to get a grasp on the devastation.

They're amazingly clear pics and the detail of the devastation is astounding - you have to wonder why the NYPD held them for nearly a decade before releasing them.

The image from that day that will remain burned in my psyche forever was taken just as one of the planes was about to hit one of the towers. It was taken from below and looked completely surreal as the jet dissapeared into one of the floors of the building.

The pics are a constant reminder of our brethren now defending the innocent fallen and also defending the American way of life.

'lest we forget'.
