View Full Version : Qaddafi Captured or Killed
News reports are coming in that Qaddafi was found fleeing his hometown of Sirte, wounded in the leg, and captured (or killed?) by Libyan rebel forces.
Richard
Reuters and a "military leader" is reporting right now, that Ghadaffi and his military advisor had been killed in an ambush on a convoy that both were part of to escape the city of Sirte.
Several other News Agencies are jumping on that train right now...

Now saying he was killed (but unconfirmed) by NATO forces attacking a convoy in which he was a passenger and NBC just showed a picture of his body being carried by rebel forces.

So there they are with a shot up corpsedafi, rolling it around in a most undignified manner so you can see all angles of the late loony Libyan leader.
Imagine the hue and cry from the Muslim world if they had released vids of SEALS doing the same to Osama's body. Hmmm.

I agree sir, when former Navy SEAL Scott Helveston was killed in a brutal manner and his murderer was caught by the SEAL's in 2009,the terrorist alleged the SEAL's had punched him and the SEALS's came under official inquiry.
Where were these so-called liberal muslims when CWO Mike Durant,SFC Randy Shugart were being dragged around by Islamic Somali mobs.
Though worse i believe are the Human Rights folks who stand for fair trial for these terrorists who killed so many soldiers and innocent civilians.

I'm glad the dirt bag is dead.
I am sure the new Libyan leader will be much less brutal and more open, friendly and democratic. It is a a great day for the people of that country they can enjoy new found freedom from oppression.

Now they have a video of him very much alive right after his capture. He's bloody and being smacked around pretty good by the rebel troops but he sure as hell isn't dead. Diddn't look like a mortally wounded guy to me.
But they say he later 'died of his wounds".
Or slipped on a bar of soap. hard to say.:D
Anyway, he's now an ex asshole. And perhaps Saif is also but I haven't seen pics yet.
I will miss our 1980's icon Dictator. Who else is going to tell the USA to choke on the blood of decaying Goats.

I was channel surfing and came across him giving a speech a few months back. After listening to the translation. I had to make sure it wasn't a SNL Skit. He was a classic. Loved his all Hot female Body Guards. Thats how I would roll if I was a dictator.

Qadhafi death blunts GOP's critique
http://news.yahoo.com/qadhafi-death-blunts-gops-critique-133500278.html
"The death of Libyan strongman Muammar Qadhafi Thursday has sharpened the contrast between President Barack Obama’s recent successes on the foreign policy front and the scattershot criticism offered by his Republican challengers.
Qadhafi’s death came seven months after Obama and European leaders launched a military campaign, eventually headed up by NATO, aimed at preventing the Libyan leader from massacring his own people................."
"..............“Today, we can definitively say that the Qadhafi regime has come to an end,” he said, adding that “we achieved our objectives.”..................."

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the previous monarchy that was overthrown "ok-ish" compared to gaddafi?

I totally agree with this statement. Let troops do the job, who cares what the enemy gets? They have no honor, they don't deserve to be treated as POW's, I'm glad the rebels shot Gaddafi, serves a good statement to all the other dictators.
Interesting that both Qaddafi and Hussein ended their regimes by hiding in small holes in the ground like the vermin that they were.

Osama bin Laden movie leaks investigated by Defense Department

"Rep. Peter King said Thursday that the Defense Department has launched an investigation into whether its personnel leaked information to producers for a film — to be directed by Academy Award winner Kathryn Bigelow — on the May 2011 raid that killed Osama bin Laden.
King, who chairs the Homeland Security Committee, previously called for a probe to look into any sort of cooperation between federal agencies and producers for the movie, which at the time had been scheduled for an October release — a month before the elections................................"
Washington and DoD worried about Osama leaks?
I'd say it's a day late and a dollar short.
