A slightly misleading title imo and the proof reader missed some capitalization...But a interesting story none the less, about a American civilian, who is survivalist and former member of the US Army was training Libyan Rebels.

But Erwin noticed they were lacking training in combat survival. Forget special forces, he said. The rebel fighters had not even gone through what every teenage recruit goes through at basic training for the U.S. Army.

I wonder how much money he spent on bribes to cross the border.

If he didn't strike me as a crazy, I might think the story was cool.

Regardless, I feel he shouldn't have mentioned to any reporter that he was ever in the U.S. Military, much less identify himself as having "specialized" in intelligence. Possibly great plan, possibly great execution, but I give him an F on everything after the moment he opened his mouth in front of a reporter.

The most credible men in the world are the ones most Americans will never have the privilege to know about. If he feels a need to tell, I don't feel a need to listen.
