Looks like a good read. Major Meadows came and talked to us during phase III of the SFQC back in the day. He was a pretty impressive person.

The Air Commando Association's August 2011 publication has a two page article about Dick Meadows. It is an article written by Maj John Plaster entitled "A Special Warrior's Last Patrol: Dick Meadows".
http://www.specialoperations.net/sontay.html, Air Commando Assn. article also has coverage of Major Meadows.

Just picked this up and reading it now - so far so good, will revisit this post when I finish it. I read Code Name: Copperhead years ago and much was mentioned about Maj. Meadows - saw this book and had to pick it up.
*edit* Glad I picked this up - well told recounting of the life of an inspirational man.
Having stood next to the statue and not knowing who Maj. Meadows was I thought perhaps I should pick this one up. So glad I did, it was a good read and Maj. Meadows seems to have been an honorable man with a remarkable career.
