I thought I'd NEVER say this to another guy, but ....
Nice Rack.
:D
All kidding aside, looks good sir. Nothing can compare in taste, to that which you grow yourself.
Excellent! My mother canned, but I never learned. I am afraid I will poison someone! Is it hard to learn? Any suggestions appreciated!

Just added 10 pints of Italian tomato sauce.
The Ball Blue Book is an excellent reference to get someone started.

Thanks! I think it is time to start a new hobby given the current economy. :)
Carefull, I am catching up. 41 quarts of green beans, 131 ears of corn (frozen), 10 lbs of okra, hopefully some pear preserves this weekend, and 3 gallons of grape juice ready for jelly.
Did you try the dilled green beans yet?

I'm sorry, I misread the url and almost lost it. :D

Just look at how uniform those labels are on those jars. :lifter
The wife and I are first time canners. We canned some peas a couple of months back. Actually I did most of the canning. She was going to do it but had a total knee replacement which meant when the peas came in I had to step up to the plate as she was only 4 days out of surgery. :)
I see a dehydrator that looks suspiciously like my Ronco dehydrator. ;) Which I got free by sitting through a 90 minute timeshare campground torture session. I got lots of good free stuff doing that. :D And, no timeshare anything. :lifter
We use the dehydrator often.

Awesome sight!!!!
My father does all the canning (jars) for the family. For many years, we've enjoyed his work.
Peaches are still my favorite. Fruit and vegetables, we've got down cold, jerky - too easy. I've been asking him to start on canned meats, (roasts, hams, etc.).
He says he's scared.

Heh heh. So did I. :D Most unfortunate title... must have been named by a blue-haired grandma unschooled in such... terms.
QP Snaquebite, your pantry is awesome. :lifter
