PHOENIX - Phoenix police and federal officials searched for a potentially dangerous container at Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix Sunday night.
On Friday, officers were conducting a routine training exercise with police dogs in Terminal 4 at about 2:30 p.m.
Part of that training involved a blue Igloo cooler with the letters "CB" written in white on the bottom of the cooler.
Inside the cooler were 2 half-pound tubes of Cast Booster explosives.
They are the same type used for mining throughout the state.
Someone apparently picked up that bag and took it.
After several searches, there's no sign of the bag or the explosives and police believe they were removed from the airport.
Police said the explosives are very stable and cannot be detonated without additional equipment, but they are hoping to get the cooler and explosives back.
As of Monday morning, everything is running as normal at the airport. No flights are affected, but authorities still want your help.
If you have any information about this case, call the Phoenix police or Silent Witness. You can remain anonymous.
