Thanks for posting that Warchief. It's amazing to see how that one photograph has touched so many lives in a powerful way. It's neat to think that it has served so many people as an aid for their personal healing. To think, it was just another great photo opportunity for Mr. Glick - yet it turned out to be so much more to many others.

I got that photo in an email awhile ago and it was entitled "Standing Guard: Watching over our Heroes".

To be able to grab a shot like that, is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Mr. Glick was in the right place at the right time, and captured something, that touches a nerve in EVERYONE.

With the mass media we have today, it's great that something so "magical" like this can be shared.

Bravo Zulu Mr. Glick !!!!! :lifter

The pic has been floating around FB for a while now. Some thought it had been photoshopped. It was an excellent picture anyway.

The picture has gotten a lot of attention locally; and like rdret1 said, a lot of people pointed to "evidence" that it had been photoshopped. I tend to believe the account of Mr. Glick. The fact that it has helped some of America's heroes and their families is outstanding.

Got the same email.

At first I thought it may have been photo shopped but it definitely gave me the chills...in a good way.
