That was the late Shelby Foote narrating the final portion.
I saw a couple of MoHs being worn there as well.

That was some great footage. Can you imagine the prep work to pull all of that together; done with no cell phones mind you. I would have loved to have seen that and talked to a few of the veterans. A neighbor of mine attended the 1938 event when he was a young boy. It turned him into a Civil War expert. He was not a "buff", he really knew his subject, and I was fortunate enough to have had many long and short talks about the civil war. His name was Carl, and he died a few years ago when he was walking over to chat with me. May Carl, and all the civil war vets Rest In God's Peace .
