Friday afternoon and evenings are usually taken up with quilting, darning socks, deep reflection about the esoteric values of our femine side and navel contemplation. We don't really like to admit this, but many of us drag out our old binkies and just take a nap :)

Well...I was pretty much doing an area study on a city in Iraq.

The wife will be home in a few hours and the house chores must be finished. :D

Need to find something to wear to the Prince concert tomorrow. :)

9/11 memorial service is tomorrow in which, I will be in attendance.

The pratice exam for the NCLEX-RN is kicking my A$$

And I have to find a dog sitter. :munchin

No wonder I refuse to go shopping at the mall with my wife. :D

A.177;

I've had three dogs in the house at one time. I just close the door to my office and turn up the music.

"Friday" is an old Latin term derived from ancient Roman times meaning both "Quit working " and "Drink Beer". This is where our culture comes from, quitting work and drinking beer.

It is 1932 here in Atlanta and I still have 2-3 hrs left at work.....and I have some "stuff" to do for the Army this weekend and have to be up at the crack of dawn for that. No rest for the weary.

Oh Well, suck it up and move on. :lifter

Are you Positive that Pic Didn't Come from Guy's Doggy Salon?Hey Air, that selection has been years in the making! However the latest acquisitions have all been drifting towards a similar hue, saturation, and brightness of Red. If I could just make myself standardize, it would make in-field repairs all the easier.

FS;No wonder I refuse to go shopping at the mall with my wife. :D Guy those are all from the drugstore or the supermarket aisle. The fingernail polish section presents this magnetic force upon me.

Haven't been to a mall in a long while (last one being the big one in Raleigh with the PF Changs) because my bestist buddy Julia's husband Bryce buys all my clothes for me. He has a credit card, and when they come back here once a month or so to visit family and me he drops off new purchases on my bed. He pretends it's more Julia than him, but it's really him.

You gotta try it! I bet it would be worth major points for you. It's a pretty amazing guy-skill to have! :)

WAKEUP it's FRIDAY !!!!!!!!!!!

My day ends at 2:30pm so I will have the rest of the day free to ponder fingernail polish color choices, whether or not to actually go unarmed to a 51% establishment ce soir, why sheathmaking should be more like ravioli making, new ingredients for RL's Electric Love Slide potion (RL, post something different but just as good; else I will get in a rut!), etc.

What are folks up to this weekend? I have 2 work calls but they shouldn't require much grey matter usage :munchin

Guy, any questions you have about painting let me know. Also, I was a Sherwin-Williams Sales Rep for 5 years before I started my own business, so what costs you $29-30 a gallon costs me $12-15.

And that goes for EVERYONE here. DO NOT buy paint without telling me. I have accounts at S-W, ICI-Dulux (Glidden), Benjamin Moore, etc.

Wherever you are in the US (Sorry NDD, etc...) my accounts are available to you.

I hate seeing someone buy "$30" paint when I get it for half that.

Pics 2-3 are selected jewelry for the evening. Probably too summer-y for November, but it's one of my fave chokers. Pic 3 are toe-rings.

FS, excellent true red color choice! :Sigh: I love the look of chokers but detest anything wrapped too closely around my neck, actually makes me feel claustrophobic. :( The toe rings are fun...I have a few but usually keep the same one on. Perhaps it's time for a little variety.

Excellent, thank you! I tend to stick to reds with a blue-ish undertone. Here's a pic.

Black hair! I've always wanted dark hair but don't think it would go well with my skin tone/eyes.

Excellent, thank you! I tend to stick to reds with a blue-ish undertoneHi Gypsy, your gorgeous red hair seems to indicate warm-undertone'd accents more than cool tones. Warm tones = those based in orange, orange/reds, yellow, yellow/reds, red-browns, golds, brass, deeper shades of pewter, etc.
Cool tones = blues, silvers, greys

The only way to tell for sure is to go to one of those color-wheel places where the place swaths of fabric next to your skin / face and see what pales you out vs makes you look more alive. They are really fun! Go with a girlfriend!

Sir,

Guy:

What shade of paint would look best with the dog's coat? :D

Alternate, more subtle plan:

Start demolition on a room or two, and just keep knocking down walls and cutting lumber every day without visible progress. Turn the saw on a piece of scrap lumber every time she calls or comes home. After a few weeks of plastic sheeting for walls and sawdust/drywall dust all over the place, it will be a long time before you get asked to start a project again. Note, if you shut down the only operating bathroom and put a water hose shower in the back and Porta-Potty in the front yard, you will really be ahead of the program. :munchin

Just a thought.
