Texas Right Wing Governor Rick Perry, who is a Christian, will be headlining a Tea Party-inspired prayer meeting today, even though some say it's a blatant spit-in-the-face regarding the Law of Not Mixing Church and State.
The meeting will last seven hours-longer than Mr. Obama's modest Birthday recognition soiree' by nearly an hour and a half-and will feature intensely capitalistic rhetoric from all manner of conservative players.
"Prayer" is not only seemingly encouraged by the leaders of the group, but will be featured, as well as "fasting".
Input from gays, minorities and women will almost assuredly be minimized, as will Green agenda items.
No word has been received from the White House as to whether President Obama will show displeasure, which historically tends to prompt the media to cringe and hide cameras and microphones.
Many normal people in the Democratic sector have blamed the recent credit downgrade on the event.
