Recently the POTUS was quoted as telling Sarah Brady that he was working on gun control "under the radar"...

who feels uninspired ?
Pretty neat considering the same administration finds it reasonable to support the idea of releasing 40,000 convicted felons because they are getting uncomfortable and later push for a stay of execution for an invader that raped and murdered a child.
....soooo uninspired

Administration to propose steps on gun safety
WASHINGTON (AP) — Six months after Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was shot, the White House is preparing to propose some new steps on gun safety, though they're likely to fall short of the bold measures activists would like to see.

Administration officials told Newsweek and The Daily Beast that starting as early as next week, Obama will begin a series of changes designed to tighten regulations and penalties under current laws—bypassing a fight in Congress with the pro-gun National Rifle Association in the process.

A national electronic system designed to make background checks for handgun buyers simpler and faster, leaving an electronic paper trail under a law named forJames Brady, Ronald Reagan’s press secretary who was wounded in the 1981 assassination attempt on the president.
A new reporting requirement that federally licensed gun shops report any person who tries to buy two long-arm weapons near the Mexican border over a five-day period.
Tougher sentencing guidelines for straw buyers that Holder’s department pushed through procedural hoops at the U.S. Sentencing Commission earlier this year.
