View Full Version : Tactical hats
Hey guys I am new to post here but I am trying to find a good cap to wear in the field. Do any of you guys have a go to favorite brand that you like? I was thinking the Arc'teryx BAC. Thoughts?

As for hats, I prefer my nineteen47.com Yankees hat.

Jesus you guys have zero tolerance for fools, do you?
To answer the question about any hat will do but may I suggest: in the woods a dark boonie hat, dark because of counter shading, the top of your head will be illuminated by the sun and in desert wear a tan hat with a brim.
How do I know? I used to play paintball.

How can a 'bama boy wear that?!? ;) Figured you guys would be sporting Tide or at least Tigers hats.
Be safe man. Heard from friends that place is turning into a ghost town.

Yup...and the town has been named "Enduring Presence" for those of us who will be left behind after the rapture...
It's never good when they already have a name for it:rolleyes:

Just cause the unit is from 'bama doesnt make me a fan of either Auburn or UoA... ;)
A couple Tide, Tiger, and LSU fans then there is myself and a guy from Mass (who sports the Redsox hat. Not your normal 1st BN ODA to say the least.
It is becoming a ghost town indeed here and not too soon.
I will save my thoughts on the "Enduring Presence" for another discussion... But like my Brother said, its a fitting end.

On the contrary, the posters on this thread have been extremely tolerant, IMHO.

PedOnc- Thank you for bringing that to my attention.

I could've used one of those 'field @$$hats' - it would've given me a convenient excuse and saved me a couple @$$chewings of note. ;)

Richard- You and me both but I think an @$$ helmet would have been better. Some of those old school SGM's were part alligator...

Mark, you got that one right - when Dick Warren was done with you, if you weren't in the hospital you were limping for the next six months!

Ditto on the Stetson. I lay claim to be the first one to wear a Stetson in Afghanistan!! (Sep 2002).
