CNN is reporting that the DoD, especially the Army and USMC, are looking for new camo, again. Already they are looking to replace the multicam. Any of youz know or heard or read anything about this? I am curious to know what this new stuff looks like or might look like, what differences they will make in this new approach, or if it will even be much of a new approach.

Seems the US mnilitary has gone cam crazy in recent years, after hanging onto BDUs for so damn long. Hell, the Air Farce got their own neo-Tigers, as you prolly all know. Any of youz know the story on how the Air Farce got their own tiger stripes-looking cammies, which they needed about as much the Army needs ice cream trucks in the battle space?

I would love to find a book that gives a comprehensive history of camouflage, with photos and illustrations, and one that just does the history of US camo, same. And I a curious to see what they come out with in this new generation of camo.

Soldiersystems.net has followed the Army's camoflauge program extensively. If you're looking for more detail check out the site here: http://soldiersystems.net/category/camo/
