An aerial ballet of sorts.
The Perris Valley Skydiving Center's just down the road from where I live and they have a vertical wind tunnel there. I'm gonna go try it sometime. :D
Cirque du Soleil without the strings.
I like the exit after performance out the door the best.

I wonder how well they'd fly with rucksacks and exposed weapon at night?
Looks fake to me. The guys outside the "bowl" are not following the action and even walk away.

It's plenty real. It's called VRW (Vertical Relative Work) and teams that are good enough compete at the National and World level. For the general skydiving community, it's typically called Freeflying.

It certainly looked powerful. I remember the old vertical wind tunnel at Wright-Paterson. If you were a person of any size you could barely get off of the netting. I had to wear a civilian suit with alot of wing to be able to do anything.
