Just got a call from Dave Liwanag (SF Col. Ret.) reminding me to watch Mythbusters tonight.
There will be segment featuring him doing some shooting. :lifter
Some months ago I'd gotten an email from Adam Savage at Mythbusters asking if I might know and military marksman, my reply was "maybe". :D
TR, Thanks for introducing me to Dave last December out on the range.

Will watch, Thanks Bill.. :D:lifter:D
Not a bad show,, Not a lot of DAVE??
They were also touting a linear plot for time over distance.
If my math and physics hasn't completely evaporated from the gray cells, that should be a curve. The longer duration the slower the projectile??
Using a ballistic pgm, http://www.jbmballistics.com/cgi-bin/jbmtraj-5.1.cgi
I think I heard they were shooting a .338 (lapua ??),
so maybe .90 bc, 200 gr, 3340 fps, zero wind, would give:
100yds .091 sec
200yds .186
300yds .284
400yds .386
500yds .492
600yds .601
6 * .091 (100yds)= .546 not .601 seconds
Help a FOG understand?? :munchin
I watched it last night. Good show!
