We would be best served to learn from their mistakes!
Because of THEIR actions there are many organizations that have sprung up all over Europe, English Defense League, French Defense League, etc. Even here. These groups in Europe countermarch everytime the muslims come out to scream, rant, riot, whine about how unfairly they are being treated or just to chant Death to the West.
Problems like this already exist in Michigan...areas where non Muslims are unwelcome. Where Christians simply handing out religious leaflets on the public street were arrested for 'disturbing the peace'...(later thrown out of court because it was filmed) but they were hauled in for disturbing the Muslim peace.
Yes, I remember that. I followed it as closely as I could. I think the police were used as pawns in that case. And I also think that the muslims complaining about that Christians did so just to cause them some discomfort, they knew the charges wouldn't stick. Unfortunately, as we see in the cases in Europe, Britain specifcally, the cops are caught int he middle. But as that Frenchmen pointed out in the video, their country is pushing them to war. Hindsight is always 20/20....I wonder if the French ever really paid attention to history?
on a side note, when I went to Michigan working for a TV show, I wore my American Infidel hate. You should have seen the looks I got in Detroit Airport. LOL Fuck'em!

Good girl, the avg American is totally ignorant about the true nature of Islam and the mainstream media does everything it can, generally, to underwrite Islam as benign.
Calculating Muslims count on our ignorance, blind acceptance, and our ability to swallow the lies they feed us.
I know I get wound up but am very tired of well meaning but enabling Americans that see Islam as a form similar to fundamentalist Christianity. The relatavism attitude that every culture/religion etc is as good or no worse than another. I expect that from liberals but get surprised dailey from other fronts.
I think for many it is simply the religious aspect of the conversation.
Some, that are athiests, want to argue that this religion, that religion is no better or worse than Islam when in fact that is meaningless under the circumstances. They end up taking the side of the apologists by proxy.
Thanks PRB. I believe I have written this before, in previous threads about islam, I do not see it as a religion but an ideology. As it was stated before by WM and I think you as well, it is all encompassing from their spirituality to the clothes they wear to the business they do to their politics and laws. And in that, they are no different from Nazis and Communists. MHO

While I am no where on the knowledge level regarding islam, as some of our forum members. I keep trying to educate myself. I learn from you guys and do a lot of my own reading. Apparently, I must be learning from the right places because when the arguments do arise, I have the means to back up my argument, with or without a little research. I have had friends that were the typical dhimmis and believed the lies of peace and tolerance. I pointed out where their learning was flawed. They are not friends anymore. I am either a racist (how one is racist against an ideology is beyond me!) or I am being hateful because of what I went thru on 911. I believe its because some have felt shame in being fooled so easy. But I don't blame them, I think as Americans we really want to see the good in all people but that, unfortunately, is not the reality of the world we live in.
