:D Don't show to the kids.

An annual charity event, the nation's Great Easter Bunny Hunt, will see 47 teams from all over New Zealand tackle the pest problem in the Otago region over the vacation weekend.

Olde tradition down there begun by Smeagol, Frodo, and Samwise many ages ago.

Here in Texas, we go after the Rattlesnakes - an old tradition going back to the arrival of the first carpetbagger governor in 1865. ;)

We used to shoot them by riding through the oil fields at night, sitting on the hood of a truck with .22lr semi-autos.

I had a rabbit problem when I moved here about 5 years ago. Then they started to disappear. I never nailed a one. The wife would have been pissed.

Then one morning I went out to raise the flag and spotted a fat and content looking bobcat sitting by the truck.

I am thinking that the Kiwis are trying to avoid the problems that the Aussies have had for quite a while now.
