The number of families impacted now numbers over 90; for those of you who generously contributed, thank you! Please help us spread the word regarding the below:
"The Soldier, Family and Command Support Assoc dispersed checks to 75 USASOC Soldiers/ families whose homes were damaged or destroyed in the recent tornadoes in the Ft Bragg area. This money was dispensed by our Association after LTG Mulholland informed us of the magnitude of the number of USASOC Soldiers affected by the storms. We anticipate further calls for assistance once the more severe cases are discovered. We have partnered with the USASOC unit Chaplains to help with identification and distribution efforts. Our first pass on this is to attempt to help our Soldiers offset insurance deductibles or other temp living expenses. If you could use your voices to get the word out, we could certainly use assistance in raising funds for this effort. We are accepting donations on our website www.USASOC.org where people can donate thru PayPal or the mail (tax deductible) to help us help our Soldiers. Thanks in advance for your assistance."
