I do not know if I would say that necessarily but it certainly will be interesting to see the psychological effect of this once it settles in.

There is a distinct possibility that this may push them over the edge.

Things like this normally happens in three's.......

So what could be next?

If she did then this might be one of the few times that "war porn" might be authorized. LOL

Waiting now for the film at 11:00. :munchin

The two-ship formation consisted of all females, two pilots and two weapons system officers, but more importantly, it marked the first combat mission flown from Bagram to be planned, maintained and flown entirely by females.

This mission represents the first combat sortie on record to involve only female Airmen from the pilots and weapons officers to the mission planners and maintainers, said Lt. Col. Kenneth Tilley, the 455th Air Expeditionary Wing historian.

I am not against it, my only question is .... why?

I doubt that the work schedule just happened to come out that way. so, if integration is such a big deal, everyone is equal, etc.

why go out of the way to prove that the femmes did it "all on their own"

It may have just worked out that way...I had a redeployment on a C130 from S.A. once where the pilot, co-pilot, navigator, and crew chief were all female.

From a little farther down in the article:

While Dudette 07 was set up to as an all female mission in honor of Women's History Month, Major Mau said inspiration for today's Airmen aspiring to great heights can come from many different places.

Back in the early 80's my airline had an all woman DC10 crew go from Honolulu to Sydney..Made a big deal out of it..Never understood the need..didn't get my name in the paper when I finished my 10 checkout...:lifter...2 years after the trip, the Capt. ran a 727 off the taxiway in Houston into the mud..got the nickname the "mudhen"..and so it goes...

Well I'm glad they decided to burn one of the best call-signs in theatre to write that article.

That is just adding more salt to an already open and festering wound. :p

If it had just been happenstance that the mission was completed, soup to nuts, by women, it would have just been viewed as a slap to the face. It having been intentional is worth at least an additional 100 riots.
