We put in for Antelope tags for the area around New Castle, Wyoming last week. Anybody else ? I was going to go to Alaska this year to visit an SF brother and fish but was over-ruled. The good news is we are going to stop in Nevada for Chukar on the way back to Californ-eye-ay...

I'll be flying into Casper, probably a day or two before the opener. A friend who is retired is driving up a week ahead to scout and transport all the equipment. When things firm up, I will let you know...

I'm watching.... waiting for the rifles report, listening to range calls... and ..............." Too bad its not deer season" ...

Well played sir!

Beautiful picture by the way. What did you shoot that with if you don't mind me asking?

The camera is a Sony Handycam HDR-UX10. It was the cheapest Sony with the higher quality vario sonnar lens. Much like other optics, lens quality is important, so I simply check the models as price goes up and find when lens quality changes and then decide upon which model with that higher quality lens. I have a doubler that I use a lot for long range work and the camera is always tripod mounted and run in HD mode.
