I'm not a medic and am not up on whats out there now. That said, I recently had to receive IV at home. I was impressed by the delivery system.
It was an "Elastomeric Infusion Pump".
The meds were in a balloon inside a very sturdy bottle with tubing attached.
"This pump does not rely on gravity to infuse the medication."
I was wondering if we have anything like this out there as the meds not need to be elevated to work. Pressure of the Balloon delivers the fluids.
