Will be in Seattle next week for a few days, any other recommendations, or comments on the restaurants I listed would be appreciated.

On the "other recommendation" side though:
The Herbfarm is pretty amazing. We've been once when the theme was truffles and plan to go back at some point. http://www.theherbfarm.com/recognition/
Poppy is fun and different. More "modern" than I am accustomed to, but I really liked it and have been obsessing about the scallops in beet sauce I had when we went. The chef is the former Herbfarm chef. http://www.poppyseattle.com/thali.html
I've been to most of the Tom Douglas restaurants. My favorite of them is Lola.

I think his pizza place is really good (Serious Pie), and Ettas at Pike Place is also nice (the coconut pie is awesome) but for seafood I haven't found anything to beat Ray's Boathouse.
For asian, Wild Ginger is amazing.
I keep hearing we need to go to Salumi's (by Pioneer Square) for lunch, but whenever we've been the line has been around the block and we haven't had time. It's a sandwich place owned by the Batali family.
Have fun! I'd love to hear your reviews on the restaurants you choose, particularly the ones you listed since I've never dined at them.
The Metropolitan Grill - not Luger's, but a very good steakhouse.

Salty's is good. 3 locations.
Verazano's is ok (I'm a snob when it comes to italian, my favorite is still La Dolce Vita at Spring and Prince, a little Family owned joint, or it was)...

ipanema on harbor steps is great if you like meat. I would get a reservation for a few hours at least.
They offer about 20 different meet dishes at a time, and the Rodizio style is a great way to try out many different styles while still getting as much of each one as you like.
The atmosphere is very casual, with more effort made on the food rather then presentation.

The Herbfarm in Fall City is amazing, but it's a hike from downtown.
THere's a bunch of great Asian restaurants all over the city, most located in the International district just east of Quest Field vic. 7th and Jackson/King streets. My favorite was Long Restaurant on the north end of downtown at 1901 2nd Ave - Vietnamese.
FX McRory's had great steaks, great oysters (if you're into that sort of thing) and a hell of a huge Whiskey bar. We used to go there for special occassions as my dad grew up with the owner, Mick McHugh.
Salty's is great (we had our wedding reception at the Alki location 11 years ago).
Classic Seattle fast food unique to the area includes 5 Dick's locations (best fries in Seattle and great hand-dipped shakes) and the Spud (fish and chips, 3 locations throughout the Seattle area)
So it depends on what you'd like. You can find it.
