Information Request on CA/WA NG SF

I am a current Echo, currently deployed, less than a yr from ETS/PCS. Its my S*!T or get off the pot time (12 yrs active). I wanted to get some information about the Guard SF in CA or WA. I am from the Central Valley originally and have lived in San Fran and Mojave. I am looking for information about deployment cycles, school opportunities, and team life on the guard side.

I would just like to make an informed decision about career options before I decide whether to go Indef Active duty.

I can help with both. I'm in CA NG SF and my good buddy is an AGR up at WA. First off, WA is better off than us just because they are located near 1st Group and have opportunities to go to 1st Group Schools.
