Is this credible? More stirring the pot?

Wikileaks: al-Qaeda "is planning a dirty bomb"
By Heidi Blake, and Christopher Hope 6:45AM GMT 02 Feb 2011

A leading atomic regulator has privately warned that the world stands on the brink of a "nuclear 9/11".

• The WikiLeaks cables in full

Security briefings suggest that jihadi groups are also close to producing "workable and efficient" biological and chemical weapons that could kill thousands if unleashed in attacks on the West.

Thousands of classified American cables obtained by the WikiLeaks website and passed to The Daily Telegraph detail the international struggle to stop the spread of weapons-grade nuclear, chemical and biological material around the globe.

At a Nato meeting in January 2009, security chiefs briefed member states that al-Qaeda was plotting a programme of "dirty radioactive IEDs", makeshift nuclear roadside bombs that could be used against British troops in Afghanistan.

Sounds like a perfect reason for a pre-emptive strike on Tehran.

Or Wikileaks trying to play both sides of the fence.

Terror groups trying to set off CBRN isn't a new idea to them. I would say that this has been, and will continue to be their ultimate goal, no?

This just in .....

WikiLeaks: Kids, there is NO Santa Clause. It's only your mom and dad leaving toys and things for you under the tree.

Tell us something that isn't new.

Terrorist organizations for the past 40+ years have been dying to get their hands and nuclear material and use it against Western Targets.

During the Cold War, I was never worried about Nuclear War between The U.S. and U.S.S.R. (although I wasn't alive in 1962 during the "Cuban Missile Crisis), I was always worried of Nuclear Terrorism. Who was to say some Extremist didn't sail into New York harbor with a "Device" and let it "go"?

The same could be said today, about some "Extremist" setting off a "device" against any Western Target.

IMO .... Weki Leaks, or whatever it's called, is nothing more than another pot stirring media outlet, looking for attention and or ratings.

I'm actually kind of surprised terrorists haven't pulled this off yet.
