Just wanted to drop a Certificate of Appreciation on you guys for nailing the future "girl scout" to the wall. Do you think the feds will sweep him under the rug to avoid embarrassment or crucify him for making them look like total fools?
Keep up the good work. :lifter
I too appreciate all the good work by TS in getting this scumbag picked up by the FBI.:munchin

The FBI did all the real paperwork!
"Note" to bottom-feeding scam artists, if you're going to scam people, don't tell people you're a Green Beret and NEVER scam the FBI!
Thanks Richard, TS, ps.com founder and friends, and others here for doing an honorable service for all the many Law Enforcement Agencies (an astounding number of them) around the country that had the displeasure of using this guy in the past.
May your glass always be full. . .

Since the article says he was to be released on 50K bond, maybe he'll get a chance to read all the well-wishes here before his liitle trip.....and here is one more...

Too early for a parting gift?

Rrrriiiiiiiiiipppppppppppppppp...
"What the hell was that noise?"
"Go back to sleep. That's just Hillar in the cell next door un-velcroing his @$$ so he can use the can."
Richard :munchin
Great job to all involved. It isn't often these days that you see these cases prosecuted. Mail fraud could certainly be an alternative to "Stolen Valor" should that avenue be lost. I would hope it isn't, but it's always nice to have a back-up plan.

Hillar has been all over the local news in Eugene, Oregon for the past couple days.
I'm somewhat surprised at how much coverage its gotten and how much flack the U of O is getting (a good thing, check people's DD-214s folks, its not rocket surgery).
I can only hope that Tacoma folks get to share in the joy, soon too.

"Trust but verify."
I think Hillar's PhD documentation and his Special Forces Qualification certificate can be found right next to obama's longform birth certificate.:D
"Trust but verify."
The indivdual responsible for the hiring of Hillar in both Monterey Institute of International Studies and the University of Oregon should be looking for a new job an Burger King. I'm betting they get promoted instead.

Does the SFQC certificate have a form #? I googled a bit and found some diploma-esqe SF certs, but they listed no mil form #s on them.
Great job, TS. Hillar was a piece of sh-- and deserved to be outed. He chose the wrong group (SF) to pretend to be!

We're not telling......;) we would not want the next liar and fraud to benefit from real SF documents.

After reading the last few anti ROTC letters to the editor in the red rag it doesn't surprise me that the UofO is getting flack from this. The article in yesterdays paper was pulled off the associated press and it didn't have any mention of PS.com in it. I think I'm going to write a letter to the editor to fix that omission.

Hang on second . . . I don't know if we are so desperate for acknowledgement that we need to have this site come up on every weiner, wanna-be, bongo-head with a computer signing on. I kinda like that I got here by a bro telling me "you oughta check out . . .) I like that some find this place through Get Selected or specific info google-fu. But a blanket "ya'll come callin'? IMO, nah.
(TS, here's what shoulda been your LOM, sorry it was downgraded to a AAM. Be thankful it isn't a LOR. Add it to the pile. Move out.)

That company just wanted to add their own "personal nuance" to THEIR certificates. I can only imagine how many walls have those certificates hanging on them.

The right people know it was us that exposed Hillar as a fraud and liar.
All the news media and "suspicious students" started AFTER 28 Oct 2010, the day we posted our investigation findings publicly .
It doesn't take an IQ of 180 to follow that trail.
99.9% of the reports of Hillars deception are just copied anyway.
Some "reporting".
[Edit to add, I have every email concerning Bill Hillar and from every "source" and they are all dated.]
In other words, "Who's next?" :lifter
Bring it.
