The Beretta Storm CX4 Carbine?

I have about as much use for a pistol caliber carbine as I do for filling my shoes with mashed potatos. That said, I'm considering buying one of these new Beretta Storms as a "Fun Gun" when I go camping. It's big enough to kill coyotes and the occasional wolf in the area I go camping in, but small enough that It won't be in the way.

"In the way" is a relative term, as I generally bring a Lever Action Henry .44 with me which is almost 40" long overall.

I realize the step down in power from the .44 to a .45 or even a .40 would be pretty significant, but either caliber will do the job I need it to do, and be cheaper to feed if I decide to just spend a day plinking or putting holes in paper with it.

I highly recommend testing it out before you buy it. We sell a lot of these, But They are just plain uncomfortable and Bulky for me. I would rather carry a good Handgun or a shotgun, perhaps with a Folding stock if Compact size is what you are after.

I own the cx4 storm and it as reliable as the 92fs. It is accurate as all get out. I use it to deer hunt and though it not as good as a larger cal. at a great distance I have brought down deer with a single round. I bought it because of the interchange of mags with my 92fs. I wouldn't get rid of either for anything.
