definitely look for a used one. Can't exactly wear out a Pelican case. I see them for sale on a few gun forums, but they go fast. Gun stores always seem to have a lot of them lying around also.

Full sized wheeled Pelican 1750 rifle case with cutouts for a M24/700Rem/etc... and accessories. You'll have to be a bit more specific about your location before I "send it". PM me.

Well, duh! Who don't? :D I dropped the hint (actually sent the URL) to the wife for Christmas but I'm not seeing anything like that under the tree. :(

"Can't exactly wear out a Pelican case" Actually not true, I have seen a few cracked ones. One of mine was cracked in transit with USPS, tried to repair it with acraglas and then with steel bed, didn't work out too well. Ended up going to aluminum. Cost was about the same and aluminum can be welded or a repair can be riveted in place.

PM me if you're interested in the case. Otherwise, I have a buyer for it up here in the Philadelphia area.

Yeah. You taking one?

My lady friend gave me a giftcard and I was able to pick one up A 1750 for $100 out of pocket. I guess that aint bad.

I prefer the Starlight cases, they weigh about half what a Pelican does and allow you to transport at least two guns without overweight charges.

The wheeled models are very convenient.

They regularly have sales where you can get them for around $100, and are made right here in NC, you can buy them direct from the factory.

ETA: Starlight has a (relatively) new "foot" that's part of their wheel kits. It allows you to stand the case on end. Makes airport ticket lines much less painful. If I get the opportunity, I'll be headed to the factory for an upgrade.
