I realize this is short notice, but I'm just getting this myself. If anyone is in this neck of the woods, please come out and help block the protest of a fallen soldier in Humbolt, TN. Just trying to get the word out, if this is inapropriate, I apologize. Details below. For those unfamiliar with these idiots, they are the ones who protest the funerals of fallen soldiers with signs about "God Hates Fags" and whatnot. A bunch of the local Air Guard and National Guard are going out to block their protest and keep the family as safe from them as possible. Thanks in advance.

More Info: We are forming a human shield around this fallen soldier's family.
Westboro Church is planning to protest at his funeral. We will form a human
shield around these idiots, to prevent the family from having to hear or see
anything this group has to say while they pay their last respects to their
precious loved one. (A HERO who paid the ultimate price for all of us.) BRING
A BLANK WHITE POSTER BOARD - we will block any message this group has. PLEASE
COME OUT AND SUPPORT THE FAMILY OF THIS GREAT AMERICAN SOLDIER.

Spoke with the PGR and they will be there as well, below their info.As it turns out he is Cav as well... Merlin, the RCIC for this event said that the General came down tonight and issued him his Spurs, I'm sorry I missed it.

"Tennessee has lost another one of her Hero's, PFC David "Dustin" Finch, 24, from Humbodt, TN, was killed during military operations Wednesday, 8 DEC 10, in southern Iraq while serving in his first tour of duty with the Third Armored Cavalry Regiment. Dustin Finch deployed with the Second Squadron, Third Armored Cavalry Regiment out of Fort Hood, Texas, in August for Iraq.

Dustin Finch played football at Humboldt High School four years, graduating in 2005. He was the team's captain and Most Valuable Player during the 2004 football season. He then played football at Bethel University from 2005 to 2009, leaving that year to join the military. He studied civil engineering at Bethel and planned to finish his degree in that field.

The news of Dustin Finch's death spread through West Tennessee on Wednesday and Thursday as his family, friends, coaches and teammates remembered the former football player and soldier as a "great guy" who did anything for his teammates and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Heather Finch, his mom, Beth Newmann (Art), sister, Autumn Finch and aunts, uncles and many friends.....He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

All contacts have been made, this is a confirmed Patriot Guard Riders mission.....Details are still pending as our Hero was returning to the states on, 10 DEC 10....further details on escorts, visitation, and the funeral will be posted once they are available.

This will be a multi part mission, please watch the above thread for details as they are finalized, with the date and times of the arrival of our Hero home on his final journey, visitation, and services."
