View Full Version : Wikileaker a "hero"?
This sort of thinking is why - despite its academic renown - we always referred to the place as 'Berzerkley'.
As the fallout from WikiLeaks continues, the debate over whether or not the alleged leaker is a treasonous villain or a First Amendment hero makes an unexpected stop Tuesday in a legislative chamber in Berkeley, California.
There, the City Council is set to vote on a resolution that hails Pfc. Bradley Manning a hero, calls for his immediate release and for charges against him to be dropped.
Here, the author of the resolution, Bob Meola, tells CNN why he thinks Manning is a hero, while City Council member Gordon Wozniak explains why he will be voting against the measure.

So, in other words, Bob is a looney toon. :munchin :D
What a bunch of coconuts
IIRC neither of these guys, Bob or Gordon, has anything to do with the university, or any academic renown, in contrast the Berkeley City Council might well have been the inspiration ( a la Bill Hillar) for the movie " Dumb and Dumber".
Maybe its just me, but at CAL these " sworn pacifists" have the nasty habit of showing up at the Chancellors Lawn at 2 am with a hatchet....
Below is a link to an article in Salon regarding Manning and his incarceration, as well as some of Manning's mindset.
Please be aware that the orientation of the article is quite sympathetic to Manning, and hence may be annoying. Or worse.

Why post it? IMO, it is better to know what the other side is saying than to remain unaware.
Going to Berkeley is like stepping back in time to the 60's/70's. They're all a bunch of ignorant hippies.
They love this leaky-wanker girl..
Breanna (aka: Bradley) Manning named SanFran’s Pride Princess
April 26th, 2013
Anonymous in JAX sends us a link to the announcement that the Grand Marshall of San Francisco’s 2014 Gay Pride event will be
Breanna Manning giving us an opportunity to use our exclusive file photo of the whiny little turd.
Of course, due to his incarceration he won’t be able to attend, so the community is exhuming the rotted corpse of Daniel Ellsburg to stand in his/her place.
In past years, Manning pride contingents have marched in New York City, Chicago, Washington D.C., Boston, San Diego, and Los Angeles. Even wider national support is expected this year, in anticipation of his summer court martial.
Yeah, you idiots, go ahead and cleave to his treachery. I guess you want to own the deaths that have resulted from his leaks of classified information, despite his pledge to his country and his service to refrain from that traitorous behavior. It just proves how disconnected Americans are from the people who protect them. And how little these cretins care about the people who put their lives on the line for them.

That resolution should also include firm condemnation of the US military [(TM) Richard] for forcing him to enlist, take an oath, sign the security clearance papers, and violate his integrity.
PS: How did "Breanna" make it past the clearance psych eval? This has obviously been a long-standing psychological issue with him and it would seemingly red flag his for a TS clearance.

I hope they shoot him.
Cut flaps and put him in general population.
Edit: Not everyone knows what this means. (http://www.dentalfind.com/info/flap-surgery)
