on the 'closed' thread I gave the following stats: needs a clarification

Now for statistics you've all been waiting for:
Deaths from isolated wounds........
chest = 28%
abdomen= 9%
pelvis = 6%
head = 62%
extremity = <1%

these are for handgun rounds....NOT rifle/high power. They are also from civian trauma centers not areas of war....unless you call certain geographic areas of inner cities war zones ????

All wounds recorded were without body armor or other devices worn except skin or regular clothing. These are the numbers I quote to law enforcement/SWAT/ tactical medics and armed services of why you're still in the fight....getting shot doesn't mean dead...just look at the stats. Too many people, civilians and LEO's think once shot their down and out of the fight. Mindset, training and the will to win and to make it home need to be the only thoughts.
Now the Le MAns projectile could change all that but for now in the civilian world anyone that gets shot, unless it is by either a "lucky" shot from an amateur or a shot from an experienced quiet professional....has a chance of making it to the trauma center for an attempt at getting fixed.

SS-

Are those stats for a single wound or do some of the stats consider multiple shots into the same body zone?
