This gentleman put a Rolex up on ebay for $9.95,through the bids he found out it was worth quite a bit more...much more!
I love stories like this and the fact that he has not lost tens of thousands of dollars because he had no clue the value of his watch!

Thanks for posting that. He'll have a good Christmas this year and renewed belief in the honesty of most people.
All you FOG's that have that old Rolex, Black Star Sapphire Ring, & Randall Knife,, sitting in the top dresser drawer.

What a great life story, and a genuinely nice guy. I guess there is good news out there every once and a while.
Reminded me of the week or so I spent at AUTEC many moons ago. We spent most of the week snorkeling outside the harbor wall and BBQ'ing on the beach, when we weren't BBQ'ing on the back of a sub. One of the most fun weeks of my life.
