Hasn't everyone taught their daughters to shoot, fish, etc.? My middle daughter can outshoot probably 60% of my police department. I had her doing lateral movement drills from 7 - 10 yards with my Glock 19 and she was putting the majority of her hits in the head. The rest were pretty much center mass.

I tried. She shot the .45 once and said "I'm done." Time to try again. Unimportant things like ballet, gymnastics, etc. keep pushing CQB training to the back of the line. :D

I started our girls when they were 12-14 yo.
The eldest was ok,, but not into going to the range.
The youngest was not only OK, but very good and by HS she helping me with friends that wanted to learn.
S actually lost a couple boy-friends because she embarrassed them sooo bad at the range. As a 5 ft, 100 lb captain of the cheerleader squad, you could call her a real type-A personality.
I think if you can start your kids before the hormones kick in, you have a chance. Girls 10-12 and boys before 14.. After that the competition between the sexes is way to strong..
