Got non-slip tapes on the slide. Rear sights blackened, green/yellow front sight. If desired, I can take the tape off and remove the nail polish on the sights.

I've come to accept I'm not that well-built to use it as CCW, and it's not lady-friendly when teaching the young ones.

I would like to get it if I could. I'm in Afghanistan right know, but If you wouldn't mind dropping it off at an FFL dealer of my choosing outside Bragg. I'll take it from there if that sounds like that could work for you.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of holster do you use? Does the grip tape on the slide impede or slow down your draw in any way? Does it rip up the inside of the holster at all?

rocknrolla, I make my own CCW holster from a rugged industrial safety glass carrier made of leather. It does not impede at all especially after many slide manipulation during dry firing. It's not as gritty. It does rub on the fabric, so I have to make sure I'm not wearing any $$$ shirt when carrying.
