Let’s face it: Most Americans don’t have much use for either of the major political parties and think it would be better to dump the entire Congress on Election Day.

Thats what happens when you create "Professional Politicians". More interested in their own careers then the people they should be representing.

Actually to be more correct they refer to themselves as the:
"U.S. Congressional Anti-Incumbent Party"

I'm proud to say that I am one of the 65%. If we do that for a couple of elections our representatives will get the hint that they need to listen to us and stop all the BS that has spread through our government to a point they can no longer be effective in solving our problems.
Was that a run on sentence or what?
