That is a work of art! Nice to see a profession where "Master" still means something.

Damn I'm finally learning this shit. I only thought I was strong like a truck and smart like a bull. Genius I tell you. Genius.

Force has no place where there's a need for skill.

John,

Welcome to the 21st century. ;)

Honestly, those pictures barely do justice to how beautiful those knives are in person. Work of art, definately.

Cheers,
D.

I thought you guys might also like to see some practice plates. I'm leaving mid November for a one on one with Sam Alfono, he's one of the best in the U.S.

John,

The attention to details is absolutely stunning. Kitchen "museum art" with a functional purpose. I don't see these on the eliteknives.com site....is this a new line you are developing, or a special order? Beautiful!

No, I do a lot of horse trading and these went to John Williams at U.S Optics for one of his SN3 SSDS'S. He wanted a Japanese kitchen knife for his father inlaw and the dude has always been good to me. So I figured I return the favor. I made him a set along with his father inlaws. Turns out he getting all four, he split from the old lady. It's kinda nice to jump around a little, make something you've never made before.

John, if you have another set like that laying around somewhere, send them here, I'll use them and let you know if I can break them....:D:munchin

Sweet knives... I could get rid of all my other kitchen knives except the cleaver.
