That was a sad, painful day. Some of the bravest of the brave. Amazing men, amazing sacrifice, selflessly given.

God Bless,Rest in Peace Warriors...........:(:(:(
They were just simple soldiers and their ranks are growing thin....
But their presence should remind us; we may need their like again.......
For when countries are in conflict, then we find the soldier's part
Is to clean up all of the troubles that the politicians start.
If we cannot do them honor while their here to hear the praise.......
Then at least let's give them homage at the ending of their days.......
Perhaps just a simple headline in the paper that might say:
OUR COUNTRY IS IN MOURNING, FOR SOME SOLDIERS DIED TODAY..........(author unknown)
The passing of our soldiers often go unnoticed and unsung by most of the world, remembered only by family and friends. Wish it were not so. May they RIP, their familys will be in my though:(ts and prayers........

Rest in Peace Brothers...
We shall never forget. RIP Warriors one and all.
18 years ago already, damn.
Great men who chose death over standing by and watching. I'm sure Leonidas smiled.
Remembering them today as well.
Rest easy brothers.

To those who were injured on that day, who seem to be forgotten, Thank you. Especially to BH, who is helping make things better for other injured soldiers.
Thank you GIG, you taught me a lot, I wonder if the floors in Valhalla shine like they did at 2/10 under your watchful eye and iron fist. DOL
I read on the SFA-72 website that MSG Gary Gordon was a member of C/2/10th SFG prior to moving on to Detachment-D. Other then the short blurb on the SFA-72 website I have been unable find anything that could confirm this. I was hoping someone on here could confirm this or point me in the right direction where I can find this information.
Thanks in advance for any information
