View Full Version : Can you tell me what kind of ammo this is?

.223 I know :), but I'm wondering who makes it. It looks as if it says 603 or GN3.

I've never heard of that, also the box I pulled it from said had armour piercing
written on it :confused: This box was in a shed from my friends father in law that had passed away. I just took the one round with me to see what it really was.

Kind of hard to tell from some of the pics, but are those laquer covered steel cases?

Laquered case, case markings look Cyrillic, likely Russian made, possibly Wolf/Tula or one of the other Russian arsenals, I believe that it is the Barnaul from the stamp.
