Another CCT was killed in action while assigned to our SOTF.
Senior Airman Mark Forester, 29, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., died Sept. 29 in Uruzgan province, Afghanistan, while conducting combat operations in the area. He was assigned to the 21st Special Tactics Squadron, Pope Air Force Base, N.C.

I was with his older brother when he got the phone call. Although I didn't know Mark personally, after hearing all the stories and sentiments that his family shared with me I will say that he was truely an a amazing young man. Prayers out to the family as they travel home. Thank you for your service, SrA Forester.
