Is there a particular round that is favored by hostage rescue, world wide, or is this a specialty item?

Who are you and why do you want to know?

T.R. I read a few posts where you discussed R.C.B.D. ammo and I was just curious. I read a book called Rouge Warrior and in the early days 147 gr. 9mm Hydro shoks were tried as a hotter load. And if something tried and tested is avail. to civilians for C.C.W. I would be interested. If something is safe for hostage rescue I would feel safer using it for personal use and welcome your advice. If this is a confidential issue I don't have a "need to know." Thanks.

I did not want to use a link as a signature due to forum rules. The Omega Man forum could use some experienced members. They are interested in survival and seem to be a friendly group. Just trying to promote them and maybe grow their site some.
Is your personal use a home invasion scenario?
If so, there is a thread regarding home invasion.

swatsurgeon, a Trauma Surgeon, has posted many pics of projos that he has removed from folks. Personally, on his advice, I carry either Remington Golden Sabers or a Gold Dot Projectile round (Black Hills and others comercially load using the Speer Projos). The following Links may be of interest:
