Here we go again! Yet another child gone wrong, and the "family" members complaining about how "their little treasure," was unjustly murdered...makes me sick!!! POS parenting is what helped to cause this situation, IMVHO! These people need to be brought to trial for their failure as parents and educators, and need to STFU!:mad:

Police have released the names of the shooter and the alleged 14-year-old robber killed when two masked suspects entered a Tulsa convenience store late Thursday.
Tulsa Police Capt. Dave Roberts said two robbers walked into Zeba Food Mart No. 2, at 506 E. 56th St. North, with a rifle around 10:45 p.m. and started shooting. Zahid Khan, an employee at the store, returned fire with a handgun, shooting one of the masked intruders.
Qualynn Dabney, 14, was pronounced dead at the scene from a gunshot to the upper torso, police said Friday. The other robber fled, Roberts said. Khan told police the masked suspects came into the store armed with long rifles.
Detectives reported they recovered a .22-caliber rifle next to Dabney's body.
Dabney's family said Friday that he didn't have a gun, and it was the other suspect at the scene who was carrying the weapon.

Family members of a 14-year-old boy who was killed while attempting to rob a convenience store Thursday night said Friday that they are eager to see the full investigation to determine whether his death was necessary.
Tulsa Police Capt. Dave Roberts said two masked robbers walked into Zeba Food Mart No. 2, at 506 E. 56th St. North, with a rifle around 10:45 p.m. and started shooting. Tulsa Fire Department driver Sam Agee said the robbers were wearing plastic masks that distorted their faces. Zahid Khan, an employee at the store, returned fire with a handgun, shooting one of the intruders.

Might be a little cold but at least no innocent people died, and he won't do that again. I do agree his parents, if you can call them that should be charged with child neglect. :mad:

For over 10 years, I used to work 2 days a week at a local juvenille detension center, doing PT rehab with the little "angels". I can count on ONE hand the number of kids there that didn't belong there!!! The vast majority had NO parenting or parenting by example with one or BOTH of their parents in prison. They had NO remorse for what they had done, and were looking to "the system" to "take care of them!" The staff - who ALL have a direct pass to Heaven for tolerating these "little angels" - had WORSE health care benefits than these ingrateful POS! But WE owed them ...:boohoo:confused::mad:
Unfortunately, these kids and the kid in this article are becoming more and more common, and I totally agree that the parents need to be prosecuted, if not keel-hauled!!!
I hated Tuesdays and Thursdays back then, but it truly made me appreciate my boys, and the GREAT kids I used to coach even more!!!

Just like clockwork tomorrow we will see that this youth was just moments away from turning his life around, he was going to join the monastery and save other youths from his life of misdeeds, etc, etc, etc.
This was a fatal mistake on his part, oh well.

A Tulsa teenager has been charged with first-degree felony murder in the attempted armed robbery that left the other apparent robber, 14-year-old Qualynn Dabney, shot to death last week.
Demari Devon Frazier, 15, was also charged Friday with attempted robbery with a firearm in connection with the Sept. 16 incident.
Dabney was pronounced dead at the scene from a gunshot wound to the upper torso.
Police allege that Frazier and Dabney entered a convenience store at 506 E. 56th St. North wearing masks about 10:45 p.m. Sept. 16. Dabney fired several shots from a .22-caliber rifle before pointing the weapon at a store clerk, identified as Zahid Abbas Khan, police allege in Frazier's arrest record.
Khan returned fire with a handgun, hitting Dabney in the chest.
Frazier was armed with a .380-semi auto pistol, the arrest report states.
He was arrested Sunday, but his name was not released until Friday, when he was charged as an adult in connection with Dabney’s death.
Tulsa County Assistant District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler said the law allows for Frazier to be charged with "felony murder" even though he didn’t pull the trigger because Frazier and Dabney were in the commission of a felony when Dabney died.
“In Oklahoma, under the felony murder doctrine, if you are in violation of a statute and it results in the death of another person involved, you can be held responsible for that person’s death,” Kunzweiler said. “That doctrine is designed to hold people accountable for the dangerous nature of their conduct.”

If accountability had been practiced at home, the 14 y/o would most likely not be dead now. As it is, his day of reckoning came, ultimate accountability was his and he paid for his actions. I hope his companion pays as well.

I watched a video of this shooting. It looked like the store keeper took at least two hits in the abdomen as he was bleeding from two places. Hope he heals rapidly and he ought to get a medal for helping clean the gene pool.

Can only speak for my own upbringing, but, if my bro or twin sis was hanging out with "bad" folks, I would of damn well tell one of my parents.
Come hell or highwater, One of our Parents were "the" lawmakers. Period.
Maybe times have just...changed???:(

What the hell do you think is going to happen if you go into a liquor store and start shooting a gun at someone?
Most of the towel head convenience store owners I know don't screw around, especially the Seiks. The Korean businessmen are pretty mean too.
I'm putting most of the blame on the parents for raising a sociopath.
I hope the cashier doesn't get in any trouble over this.
