To my favorite member of The Greatest Generation.
After 65 years, my dad's stuff is now properly displayed. Rest in peace, Pop. I owe you everything I have.

Nice! That's a beautiful frame you've chosen.
I've been meaning to do one for my father's stuff...but I've been lazy of late. He retired in 1983 after 20 years in the USAF. Former member (C-130 crewchief) of the 7th SOS when they were stationed out of Ramstein AFB in Germany.

Great job on your Dads memorial Bob...........:o I've been meaning to do my Dads,but I still haven't gotten his CMB............:( He served as a medic in the pacific for 3 years and obviously saw plenty of combat on the islands,however he never received his CMB,or CIB for that matter............:mad:

The wheels of the bureaucracy grind slowly and unreliably. A friend of mine got his dad's medal replacements in 3 weeks. Others seem to take months and months.

Nice. I have two grqndfathers who served myself and then some ancestors who served on the other side.
