This is a complete upper that no longer fits my needs - it was my first build but is a little on the heavier side. Now I have several ARs for accuracy work (not that I'm any good, mind you) and want a lighter upper receiver for my SHTF gun.
This is a great upper for someone who wants one rifle to do it all - it shoots better than 1 moa with match ammo but has the shorter barrel as a "carbine". It cycles everything from cheap-assed Wolf steel-cased 55gr to match-grade 69 gr Fiocchi.
It has approximately 500 rounds through it. There are a few minor scuff marks on the handguards but overall it is in excellent condition.
Components:
RRA Flat-top upper receiver (with M4 feed ramps)
16" Olympic arms 1:8 twist stainless steel barrel - chambered in 5.56 with a carbine-length gas system.
J-P Enterprises Tactical Compensator
J-P Enterprises / VTAC free-floating handguards with extension
J-P Enterprises front sight / adjustable gas block
Troy industries folding rear sight
Unknown make bolt & BCG (purchased from Brownells is all I remember :rolleyes:
The above components add up to just over $1000. I'm asking $750 shipped (or $700 face to face in the Ft Lewis / Tacoma area).
