Maybe - but all those Chinese and Irish immigrants who built the Transcontinental RR would have loved to have had something like that. ;)

Indeed, It was impressive, especially the spring clip they use to secure the track to the ties..

It looked like they most take out "old" ties to replace with new.

I though they didn't do that until a train derailed??
