What are you favorite cookies? Store bought, homemade, corner baker etc... I usually don't eat cookies but found myself wandering around downtown and spotted a new bakery. The smell coming from the place was amazing, that fresh baked bread and cookie smell that is even better on a cold winter morning. Stopped in and grabbed a few oatmeal cookies for the kids and there they were, just lying in the bottom of the case. She said they were fresh from the oven and when she handed me those snicker doodles they were nice and warm. Oh man, I have not had a snicker doodle since my mom made them for me as a kid.
I will have to make a trip back soon for some more!
If I do have "cookies" around the house though I usually make them and they have to have dates or figs in them.

My mom makes these a few times a year and they are easily my all-time favorite.

Of course, Otis Spunkmeyer's cookies are always a treat when you can get them.

Warm, chewy oatmeal raisin cookies and chocolate chip cookies the same way. Preferably with a glass of ice cold milk to dip em in. And if I can't have that I'll take smores.
Homemade always! I'm told often that my oatmeal raisins or oatmeal chocolate chips both could beat Mrs. Fields any day. Crunchy outside and chewy inside!
I miss my grandmother, she always made me the Fig cookies and also what she called "slices" (Biscotti) mmmm those were amazing. Ahhh thanks Grandma.

I like fresh fruit and fresh cookies and never the twain shall meet. Mrs. Fields has some nice white chocolate chunk and macadamia nut cookies. My own are my favorites though. Chocolate chunk with pecans, oatmeal chocolate chip, white chocolate chunk with pecans, and occasionally, peanut butter or snickerdoodles.
Mom makes some from peanut butter cookie dough baked in a miniature muffin pan. You pull them right out of the oven and put a small reese's peanut butter cup in the middle of each one and then put them in the freezer to set up. Good Stuff
