Ive went about searching the internet (google, and other forums) to find my answers but with no luck. I have not been able to find the training plans that recently selected candidates have used or more information on SOPC. Im sorry if I offended anybody in anyway, that was not my intentions but never the less thats they way they where precieved and it was wrong on my part I should have thought longer before making that post. I have done every thing that was asked of me (except put a post on the base camp forum untill my name was changed and I can see that it was so thats where Im going next. Ive updated my profile (never really new that it was that important. Once again Im sorry for disrespecting everybody that is a member on here. Im going to retract the question about training plans since theres one provided when you go to the briefings. By my question still stands about SOPC. Theres not much information out there on this course except that the Army is going to make everybody go through it. But I would like more information from the newly selected members how they prepared for SFAS. Did they follow the one provided or devised one of there own. Once again Im sorry

The Reaper,

Can you Gentlemen even comment on what goes on in SOPC? Or the training regiment that takes place during that course?

TOCrat,

Just a thought but maybe there is a very good reason why you are not able to find the answer you are looking for.

Just an outsiders perspective.

Since you asked politely, no we are not going to give the store away.

I would prep for SOPC the same way I would prep for SFAS, since that it what it is designed to accomplish.

Plenty of advice on SFAS prep and I would read the recruiter's handouts carefully, including the prep book.

Best prep is to get off your ass and run, ruck, and PT. Next would be to get your mind (and attitude) right.

If you report in in good condition, focused, alert, dedicated and willing to learn, we will teach you everything you need to know. Our job is also to see if you are deficient in any of those areas, as well as a few more.

If you cannot pass SOPC, you are almost certainly not ready for SFAS.

HTH.
