Are you SURE they didn't mean the Conch Republic??

I think we can replicate all their stats and beat several they didn't mention..

Alcohol consumed
Average usage of Speedo's by Men over 60t'y
Average usage of string bikini's by Ladies over 70..
Number of DUI's per 1K population
Number of boats that sit more than swim
Number of Disney Tourista ships

I'd make the list longer,, but I need a beer... :D

That's funny that things don't match up with the fattest cities.

Go to Google Maps, type in "United States," and you'll be reminded of just how big Texas is. But what you can't see is the size of the state's citizenry: Five Lone Star cities are among the nation's fattest, with Corpulent Christi at the top.

To arrive at our rankings, we calculated the percentage of people who are overweight, the percentage with type 2 diabetes, the percentage who haven't left the couch in a month (CDC Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System); the money spent on junk food (Bureau of Labor Statistics); and finally, the number of people who ate fast food nine or more times in a month (Mediamark Research).

1. Corpus Christi, TX
2. Charleston, WV
3. El Paso, TX
4. Dallas, TX
5. Memphis, TN
6. Kansas City, MO
7. San Antonio, TX
8. Baltimore, MD
9. Houston, TX

Must be the Tex-Mex food. Wash down a plate full of greasy enchiladas with a chicken fried steak and hash browns......
