Apparently they cut Dingle - but Berry was still on the roster last season.
Johnny Dingle #92 was 2 yrs ahead of Scooter Berry #93 and left WV for the NFL as a free agent in 2008 which is why he would not have been on last year's roster.
In his Senior year, Dingle was named Second-team All-Big East and earned the team's Gridiron Gladiator Award at the conclusion of the regular season. His final collegiate game was the 48-28 victory over Oklahoma in the 2008 Fiesta Bowl. He finished his senior season with 47 tackles, three sacks, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. He, along with Pat White, and Marc Magro, was named an Honorable Mention All-American by Sports Illustrated.com.
I don't hardly see him as a player who was 'cut' by WV...;)

We'll no - probably didn't cut him, but I bet they're thinking about cutting Berry - read below.
Two bad too - these guys could have teamed up, gotten on the same NFL team and had a fruit drink named after them. But, who knows - maybe they still can.
October 20, 2009, 5:40 PM ETWVU suspends Berry indefinitely
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- West Virginia coach Bill Stewart has suspended defensive tackle Scooter Berry indefinitely, two days after the junior was arrested outside a Morgantown bar.
Stewart said Tuesday that Berry broke team policy and his future playing status will be reviewed "at the appropriate time."
Morgantown Municipal Court records show Berry was arrested early Sunday on charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct. He was released on $200 bond and faces a Nov. 11 hearing.
Berry missed two games with a shoulder sprain and injured an ankle Saturday against Marshall.
Berry, whose 25 career starts are tied for the team lead, has been a backup the last two games. Sophomore Josh Taylor has replaced Berry in the starting lineup.
