This is one reason so many people's heads are not screwed on right. The Empire State Building will honor the anniversary of the People's Republic of China but refuses to honor the centennial of the birth of Mother Teresa. Shows where the owner's sentiments lie.

You're right, rdret1. Someone's head is cross threaded. There'd be an overload on the MSM and in the WH if they honored Mother Teresa. Imagine if they were to honor the Patron Saint of the US (The Immaculate Conception of Mary) or the Patron Saint of SF (Philip of Agirone).

It occurs to me that the building is owned by a business.

One entity makes them money, the other does not.

Unless they are egalitarian and/or non-profit, the decision is simple.
