So, I just wanted to take a second and blow my own horn. I'm catching up on reading today as I've been gone the past couple weeks getting married and honeymooning. :D

These photos are actually post-honeymoon as we didn't get anything the day of because the rain was so hard. The new wife was NOT happy about her perfect day being re-planned 45 minutes prior to the start, but in the end we are married and all is well.
Congrats! Looks like a keeper, but what is up with the white socks?;)

Ahh, actually they are Infantry Blue. Probably a bit washed out in the photos.

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone. I will be sure to show her the thread tonight. Actually, she has done some reading on here and I think she even registered at one point to get in one the medical threads. She is just about to finish up PA school. She'll soon be my sugar-momma. :cool:
Dozer....no, I'm not sure she really has any idea. I keep telling her that this big green machine isn't going away too quickly. I'm not sure if she's buying though.
Librarylady...glad you like the Chacos. She had them custom made. We had to buy something like 60 feet of webbing from a parachute company to meet their minimum order. Chaco commonly makes the white ones but doesn't stock the webbing for brides to use so you have to order it. Then, we had to spend a day with RIT dye recipes to get the correct ivory color. :rolleyes:

Don't listen to any naysayers....marriage to the right woman is a great thing....An upside of one of the negatives of our profession is with the right woman you get to be newlyweds for much longer than normal people.....I've been married 6 years, but only home for a little less than 3....every time I come back it's like the honeymoon all over again :D
